In this activity, you will use the materials listed below to build a boat with the greatest buoyant force possible. the boats will be tested by floating the boat and. Boat hull density project: determine how much weight can be supported by boat hulls of various volumes and how this relates to the density of water.. What you do: cut a large piece of aluminum foil out and help your child fold it into a boat shape. it can be big or small, just as long as it's big enough for some.
